Hi all.
Somehow I have caused route to default to subnet 255.255.255.255 on my
RedHat 6.1 box. I've tried linuxconf, deleting the route and adding it
with gw 255.255.255.0 and it still insists on return to 255.255.255.255.
I also looked at /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 and it shows
255.255.255.0.
I know that you can subnet to a different class for added versatility but
I don't need that. I am using the box as a router for another machine
(MacOS) which won't allow a subnet to be any other than it's default
class.
Any suggestions???
Thanks,
John
