Hello, I wonder, is it possible to make the Linux bootable CD on a CD-Writer under windows? I have created the boot diskette, by placing on it with 'dd' kernel and gzipped basic root structure, which than mounts the CD and works with it, but I need to live without that diskette, so that I can boot directly from CD! The problem is that I do not have a CD writer myself and know noone who uses it under Linux, and I know absolutely nothing about the process of burning CDs :-o) Regards, Alex Agibalov ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-newbie" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please read the FAQ at http://www.linux-learn.org/faqs
