Hello, I have installed XFree86 4.0.1 on a system where I didn't have X before. And there're two problems 1. When I try to switch from X windows to any other console, it crashes with the message: xinit: connection to X server lost X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown) 2. I have tried to install KDE and fvwm95, but with both of them I don't see any toolbars, although the style of windows and context menues change accordingly to that managers. However, in my CD archive I have found a two-years old version of AfterStep and it works perfectly. But actually, I need to use only KDE. Maybe I should use some newer versions, because I have tried the one supplied with SuSE Linux 6.2, however I did not install a binary, but compiled it from sources? Any suggestions, especialy concerning the first question, would be highly appriciated.
