I May be completly off-base here, but that means that netscape is
unable to lookup localhost, meaning that there is a problem with your DNS
setup.

        try this instead

        http://127.0.0.1:901

        To fix the underlying problem, you sould configure a cahahing only
nameserver, as described in the DNS HOWTO, you may want to do this once you
have the rest off the internet stuff set up. Untll then just make sure that
there is an entry in  /etc/hosts that points localhost to 127.0.0.1
(localhost should always point to a loopback address.)
