Thanks, all, for the responses. the reason why I didn't want to use my (so
far preferred) GUI email program to do the job was because everytime it polls my
pop (yahoo, -not ISP based- (shared connection)) it freezes the program until
the poll is completed, so I have to stop what I'm doing until it's finished.
