I still wonder whether I can fix this rpm *%@^*
I do have slackware 7.0, should I avoid using it with my Redhat?
I mean, the binaries are dist specific, right?

I'll just have to install slackware tomorrow  :-)
or check out the tarball for gcc-2.95.2 which I've got.

You don't suppose I should install gcc-c++, gcc-objc, 
gcc-chill, and/or gcc-g77, do you?

I'll have to check these out; I will look at my Slackware CDROM
