Yes that was also what i was thinking, the 1950, has become the R410. The R610 is more high class, more RAM options, designed for 2.5" disks (aka ssd's) Default also more network.
While the R410 is the same as a 1950, only has the option to add 2 more harddisks. (and ofc next gen, so new proc's and ddr3) Best regards, Joep Gottlieb **** **** <http://forum.i3d.netl/> Op 2-7-2010 12:23, Stephan van Hienen schreef: >> -----Original Message----- >> From: [email protected] >> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Barnaby Gray >> Sent: vrijdag 2 juli 2010 12:02 >> To: Dell Poweredge list server >> Subject: 1950 replacement >> >> Hi, >> >> What's a rough next generation replacement for the 1950 (ie 1U) the R610? >> >> > > What about the r410 ? > > (we are replacing 2950's with r510's) > > Stephan > > _______________________________________________ > Linux-PowerEdge mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge > Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq >
