The R610 is the 11th generation server replacement for the PE1950. Server identification changed with the 10th generation PowerEdge server platforms. I.E.
R = rack; M = blade or modular; T = tower 6 = server model 1 = indicates 11th generation 0 = indicates Intel based; 5 would indicate an AMD platform Hope that helps! :) Warren "Brett" Thurber Senior Support Consultant Dell | Global Support Services RHCA: 804006993421941 office +1 512 513 4937, cell +1 512 466 8329 backup: David Ulbrich e-mail: [email protected] How am I doing? Dell don't exactly make server generation hierarchy obvious with them being renamed each time! cheers, Barnaby _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq
