Be aware that Dell does not "officially" support XFS, on the grounds
that it is not a "default" filesystem choice of the operating system.

If you run into issues, with PERCs and you are asked the filesystem
type, you might get a "we do not support this" response if you say
"XFS". We had an issue on a SUSE box with a PERC that went a little
nuts after a power bump. Needed help getting the vdisks back into
shape. Dell wouldn't help on the operating sytsem side because it had
an XFS filesystem.

Had the same issue with Dell and EMC vs XFS for medium-size (20+TB)
filesystems too. It's explicit in the EMC docs. YMMV but for sure be
prepared in case you are asking for support.

Note that in spite of the above we run XFS on numerous machines, for
ourselves and customers, quite successfully.
