Yup, <URL:http://www.loth.demon.co.uk/ppp/ppp.html>. And that's doing the
filtering in the kernel which should be faster than passing the packets to
and fro with user-space, which is what I /assume/ diald does, I've never
actually used it.
When I find some time I'll port the patches to the new PPP code in 2.3.x,
and then hopefully (i) it'll go into the official kernel, and (ii) it'll work
for all types of PPP (as I believe the main body of the code in 2.3.x has
been abstracted away from the media specific bits). I don't know whether the
2.2.x patches will ever go into the official tree, as it's supposed to be
stable.
