A program which writes corrupted data, a user who types Identical problem with TAPE!! In fact it's even worse... an rm -rf command in a wrong directory), et al. RAID only Hehe..you really think that it would be normally mounted? That an ordinary user would control the files?? protects you against a disk failure. Nothing more. Expand your thinking! Tape backup is needed in ADDITION to RAID for better solution. Sure, just give everybody free hardware. Don't run many budgets eh?
