hi,

        i got the raidtab from the sample file (only change the
        chunk size to 16)
        the mdstat didn't change a bit since the box runned
        (i compiled in the auto RAID detection)

        i didn't bring up the syslogd, but dmesg shows nothing
        mke2fs (1.10) gave "invalid argument while creating superblock"
