I didn't think there would be any different--you use Partition Magic to
increase the size of your standard ext2fs partition and then run the
ext2fs resizer on it to use the new space, right?

What would be the difference between that and adding another drive to a
raid-linear array, for example?

Maybe ext2 volume support is a better way of handling this? Anyone know
what the status on that is?
