Hi,

I'm currently trying to set up a system with root partition on /dev/md0.
The machine should become a mailserver, so there's lots of space for
/var/spool...

/dev/md0             1523126  185087  1259326     13%   /
/dev/md1             6960272    1052  6598564      0%   /var
/dev/sda1               7746     599     6747      8%   /kernel0
/dev/sdb1               7746     600     6746      8%   /kernel1

I've put the kernel image + stuff needed by lilo (/vmlinuz /dev/*
/etc/lilo.conf /boot/* /tmp) into a small partition on each of the disks so
I can run lilo -r /kernel0 and lilo -r /kernel1 to have both disks bootable
in case the other sould die;

I'm not too happy with this double-lilo setup I'm currently using - is
there any way to make the boot process more transparent while still
retaining the ability to start from either drive?

Bye, Martin Bene
