I applied the patch to 2.1.132 (it needed some help, but it seems to be
ok).

I wanted to boot from my raid0-device (created with raidtools 0.42pre3).
This used to work fine till 2.1.123.

Till then I get a oops ( which I mentioned on this list a couple of
times). So now I applied the patch to see if it helped.

It did change something: I do not get a oops but a kernel-panic, saying
that the VFS could not be mounted, after the message "Bad md_map in
ll_rw_block".

Do I need to upgrade my array so it can be read with newer kernels?

This leads to my econd problem:

compiling the new raidtools (0.90) I get a compilation error:

gcc -g -O2 -O2 -Wall -DMD_VERSION=\""raidtools-0.90"\" -g -c mkpv.c
mkpv.c: In function `mkpv':
mkpv.c:153: `BLKGETSIZE' undeclared (first use in this function)
mkpv.c:153: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
mkpv.c:153: for each function it appears in.)
make: *** [mkpv.o] Error 1

I did not look into that; I need to go to bed.

Could you guys help me, please?

I am not on this list; please cc to me.
