Re: raid1 on ide decreases read performance

Hi

Maybe that raid1 stripes the reads; I am not so familiar with raid1,
because most 
time we use raid0 and raid5 (also I am not sure, if raid5 does not
stripe reads).
I think, I have read about raid1 striping its reads, but - as I said - I
am not 
sure.
By the way, - if we speak about raidtools 0.90 - is it explained in the 
documentation?
