Having lost _several_ disks in the past, I am going to make a valiant
effort to ensure I've got a mirror (through RAID1) of EVERY filesystem
on my server. Thus making this extra 5GB unused in the event that I
replaced a failed 4GB drive with a 9GB drive. I'm not trying to be
stubborn, just trying to get an idea what other people do in a similar
situation.

Agreed. I guess I'll just worry about the problem when the time comes.

Thanks for the prompt reply,

Mike.
