Which date? The latest is raidtools-19990713-0.90

There is a patch for the 2.2.10 kernel on you favourite kernel.org
mirror, as there is for nearly every 2.2 kernel. The patch isn't
strictly needed, check the mailinglist archive for the changes.

Get/compile the latest tools, as mentioned above, and retry. If it still
fails, tell us again :)
