I'll update the HOWTO to reflect any changes that people point out to 
me need updating.

If we add a pointer to the new HOWTO in /documentation/Configure.help, 
shouldn't that do it ?

I'm sure most people on this list are *very* interested in seeing the
new RAID stuff go into the stock kernel, especially considering the
fact that the current in-kernel RAID code is simply broken in many
cases, and doesn't provide essential features such as background
reconstruction.

I'll go thru it myself right now, but if anyone out there has important
changes that need merging, tell me about it !
I know about the lack of documentation of the failed-disk option, which
I'll update right away.

We *need* this in the kernel,  Alan and others...   A kernel without this
is broken.
