It looks like on my motherboard, you can specify (in the BIOS) the
CPU speed. However, setting it lower doesn't bring anything (no change in
/proc/cpuinfo nor in benchmark).

It looks like the autodetected speed is always used (450MHz). I may test
with another processor if I can find one, and I will test with raw IO
(direct IO sct) to see if cpu memcpy_to_user() has any impact.
