Hi,
I've a problem with a Hard Lockup on a Software-Raid server
#cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.2.6 (root@inishlar) (gcc version egcs-2.91.60 19981201
(egcs-1.1.1 release)) #3 Thu Jul 8 12:00:38 IST 1999
raidtools version 0.90
Machine is a:
proc # cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 1
model name : Pentium Pro
stepping : 9
cpu MHz : 199.435479
cache size : 256 KB
fdiv_bug : no
hlt_bug : no
sep_bug : no
f00f_bug : no
fpu : yes
fpu_exception : yes
cpuid level : 2
wp : yes
flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 sep mtrr pge mca cmov
bogomips : 199.07
Cards in the machine are an
ATI Mach64
AHA2940UW Adaptec AIC-7881U (rev 1)
Kingston Network Card DEC DC21041
Last night I happened to be here when it happend, the machine was absolutely
dead, nothing on the console (I used setterm -blank 0), SYSRQ didn't work,
nothing, I'm at a loss to explain it, my first course of action will be to
upgrade to the latest stable kernel and raid-utilities, after that I'll start
swapping Cards.
Any tips/suggestions appreciated, I have to get this sorted...
Cheers
J
