Yes that's pretty weird. I'd say it's a SCSI problem.
What does running a bonnie on both SCSI disks from the RAID
give you ?
I'm pretty sure you'll see the same results. The combined
thrughput from bonnie on the two disks, will be the same as
you get from the RAID.
Could you try that out ?
