Consider yourself corrected :) Considering Ingo's email addr (well,
among others) is mingo@redhat and how thoroughly they got tested
in Alan Cox's (alan@redhat) tree, I don't see why RH would have any
reason to stick with old-style (and, apparently, neither did they).
I've used and loved the new raid since around 2.1.90 and am among the
many perplexed that it has remained outside the Linus tree this long.
Thankfully distros can *cough* correct maintainer oversights :)
