The set_blocksize patches the last of which I see are at 
kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/andrea/patches/v2.2/2.2.14pre12/

Since the patch appears to amount to "choose the currently if 0'd
set_blocksize" you can just do the editing yourself pretty simply
if it doesn't apply to 2.2.14 cleanly.
