Hi everyone,

I'm using a SCSI Yamaha CD-Writer copying data off of a SCSI RAID5 (3x SCSI
4Gb Disks on a 2nd SCSI Controller). I'm using the xcdroast front-end with
the included cdrecord 1.6.1 and mkiofs 1.12b4, and have burned several CDs
without any problems. The SCSI Raid is a patched 2.2.11 kernel with the
raid0145-19990824-2.2.11, and same-date raidtools0.90 patches.

But unlike the problem below, I'm not using any I D E components.

Cheers

Funny you mentioned it, but I also can't get my CD-Writer (SCSI,
Yamaha)
to work. I can read disks but I can't write to them (not even fake
mode). I
never thought this could be related to raid ...
