RAID on a Dell PowerEdge 2400

Has anyone been able to get RAID going on one of these beasts using the
embedded RAID controller?  (I'm referring to hardware RAID not software
RAID)  I'm under the impression that the PowerEdge 2300's have working
drivers but that they won't work for the 2400 series.  Have there been any
updates in the 2.3.xx versions of the kernel to support these controllers?
