[Carruth, Rusty] Well, I have a new gateway p550 with 2 2940U2W and
3 IBM 9GB LVD disks, and I have a little story to tell:

When I got it, it only had 1 drive. It ran fine under WindWoes, but when
I booted linux, it locked up after the reset (you can see my query about
that somewhere on the 'net, if you wanted to look).

Well, they finally got around to putting in the other 2 drives, and fixing
the broken cables that happened when someone (not from the company)
tried to install the new drives. Once I had new cables and full load
of drives, everything started working fine...

Check them cables! To be honest I'd seen the cables before and after,
and I'm not sure I could tell you the difference!
