3wave?

Someone mentioned here some interesting 4 and 8 channel ide 
cards, 3wave something. 8 channel ide card sounds very 
interesting, but I cant find them on the net. Any hint?

How does linux 2.2 work with such a card? I read that 2.4 won't 
have any problems with up to 10 ide controllers (->40 disks?), but 
now if we can get a 8 channel card, does this mean we can have 
80 ide disks under linux? Wow ... :)
