Nope.  RAID code doesn't support layering of RAID right now.  There was a
special case for RAID 1 over 0 (or the other way around?), but it turns out
that it didn't quite work properly.  So not only will autodetect not work
correctly, it won't work at all.  :-(  I don't know what the plans are for
this in 2.4, but it would definately be cool.
