I have finally gotten the onboard 7890 on my Asus P2B-S motherboard
working fine. My solution was to get the latest (5.2) RedHat release and
everything installs and works great. You can go to :
ftp://ftp.dialnet.net/pub/linux/aic7xxx/  to get the latest aic drivers.
I tried going this route but found it was simplier to do a new install
with RedHat 5.2
