Hi,
I sure wish I could find a tape utility that would just read raw tapes,
i.e. no tar, no backup format, just records.
Ideally it would be like the old 9-track utilities and would let me read
variable length records and tell me how long they are. It would also at the
least allow me to stream a chosen file to disk and rewind. My target is an
Exabyte 8205 8mm drive.
Any ideas?
