Is that a PCI card ? If yes, is it visible in /proc/pci
(use cat /proc/pci from a shell, e.g. ALT-Fx from installation, or
when the system is installed (probably not the case))
If yes, is the name recognized ?
no -> upgrade kernel and/or fix pci.[ch] yourself.
Is it a supported CHIP
yes -> use the supported chip driver, possibly modify so that
it accepts it
no -> no luck
For a quicker (but more prone to say it doesn't work) approach, look
in the hardware database of e.g. SuSE
