i've some problems with linux smp and kernel 2.2.0 pre6
my machine:
gigabyte 686 DLX with an aic 7880 uw scsi contrroller onboard (bios 1.2)
2x PII 333mhz
192 mb RAM
1x QUANTUM 3.8 GB IDE HD
1x IBM 8.4 GB IDE HD
1x QUANTUM VIKING 2 9.1 GB uw scsi HD
1x atapi cd-rom
1x scsi cd-rom
1x yamaha CDRW cd writer
cl sounblaster live
Number Nine Revolution 3d
Diamond Monster 2 3d
my distribution:
debian 2.0
gcc 2.8
my problem.
I can compile the kernel 2.2.0 pre6 (and pre4 and also 2.1.132).
I can start this kernel, but after an uptime something around 24 min.
there is the message on the console of root:
Unknown Interrupt
10 sec. after this messege, the system is locks up.
know someone help for this problem?
