I become to like the SysV style rc more and more. I remember
I had to install several packages on SunOS. All of them modified
rc.local and none of them did it right. It was not very pleasant.
For this alone, I'd like to see Slackware go away.

FYI, I saw FreeBSD people discuss moving away from the BSD style
rc. But they didn't want to use the Linux SysVInit. Someone wanted
to invent something similar, but different. Now the discussion
seemed died down.
