I bought the Asus P2B-DS back in June, when it came out.
It's been runing with two 350 MHz cpus, 192 Mb of SDRAM, four 9.1 GB
Ultra Wide Seagate Barracudas connected to a BusLogic 958
controller, an IDE disk, lately a Plextor SCSI cdrom, and a 3com 3c905
100Mbit Ethernet, all this with kernel version 2.0.33.
I need to upgrade the kernel, as all my other machines are running
2.0.35 or 2.0.36, but my partners won't let me, as they enjoy using that
machine...
I get an interrupt handler error once every couple of days, under heavy
loads, but I think it's related to the 2.0.33 kernel, and will be fixed once I
upgrade, hopefully, next week.
When I bought it, there was no driver for the SCSI on board, and I only
got the P2B-DS because nobody had the P2B-D board in stock, then.
I use BusLogic everywhere, so I just disabled the onboard controller and
installed the BusLogic.
Does anyone use the 7890 at 80 Mb/s ?
HTH, Adoram
I'm very happy with this setup, and as a matter of fact, I'm going to buy
another one this week, now with 400 or 450 MHz cpus, 384 Mb of RAM,
