I said "while compiling 2.2.1" :)  I was running 2.2.0 at the time.

I should I should report this.

Now I just have to deal with all this file corruption and filesystem
corruption that has occured.  *Sigh*

Some stuff in /usr/lib got crosslinked.

Has there been any reports of ext2fs corruption with any kernel past
2.1.132?
