The 2.0.xx kernels never caused any problem, but I do get the same crash
with every 2.1.1xx kernel as well as 2.2.0 (current): After about 2-3 days
of continuous uptime with normal usage (X, couple dockapps, mpg123, rc5, the
usual inetd servers, irc, netscape) programs suddenly start crashing in
rapid succession with the same error message.
I've cut/pasted the relevant errors out of /var/log/messages and run
ksymoops over it. [1] I've pasted the results below.
Hardware: Soyo 6KD mainboard, dual P2-333 CPUs, 64 Mb 100Mhz SDRAM,
2 Quantum Fireball hard drives, Matrox Millenium G200 AGP card, 36x ATAPI
CD-ROM, two LanPro PCI Ethercards, using the pci-ne2k driver.
