The configurability option of a non-onboard controller is definately a
plus, especially when the people who make the motherboard with onboard
scsi decides that you dont need anything other than an internal scsi3uw
connector (yes, there's solutions for hooking up an external connector via
converers, cables, etc, but the cost of that is more than the savings of
getting onboard..) So now I have a spare external scsi zip drive...
