Heya ppl,

I've recently made a few attempts to get sound working on my Dual Pen 300
running Linux RH 5.1 2.0.35 kernel.  I've tried it modularized and
compiled in with the io settings.  The settings are correct, I'm 99% sure
of that (same settings in Win95, and OSS verifies the same settings).
I've tried OSS, but it will only work if I have sound modularized anyways.
If I have no sound support compiled in, OSS fails to work at all (even
though thats how it should be used).  So basicly nothing seems to work
unless I modularize sound and OSS.  The module itself will not work.  When
I attempt to play a sound, like an mp3 for example, it will seem as if it
is playing, but will start throwing mad IRQ errors....  Anyone have an
idea as to why?  Am I just being stupid, or is this a legitimate problem?
