AMD announced the K-7: http://www.amd.com/news/prodpr/9882.html Sounds like it'll do SMP: "...a programmable high-performance backside L2 cache interface, and a 200 MHz Alpha EV6-compatible system bus interface with support for scalable multiprocessing." Could anyone tell me if Linux should work on such a machine, SMP or otherwise?
