I am using a a Supermicro P6DGU because of the GX chipset and onboard SCSI. In
general, I am pleased but I still have some memory problems that I was not able
to nail down. I can give you the following advice: before you buy memory for a
100MHz board, go to the manufacturer site and read there about the recommended
PC100 memory chips. You may pay 10 dollars more for the DIMM, but it will be
worth it because it will save you a lot of problems (and headaches) in the
future. Apparently, the PC100 standard is still very raw and there are a lot of
imcopatibilities.
