What's the latest relatively stabil 2.1.x kernel

Hello,

What is the latest relatively stabil 2.1.x kernel. I have a dual P-100 with
an adaptec1542 SCSI-card and a NE2000 network-card. I listed this specific
configuration, since I heard there were a lot of problems with these
specific cards in combination with SMP.
