I currently have 2 RH5.1 machines running 2.0.35 w/SMP on a 10MB network.
One has an Inter PR440FX motherboard with onboard Adaptec SCSI and Intel
EtherExpress Pro 10/100. Dual 180MHz PPro cpu.

The other is a Tyan Titan Pro with a Buslogic/Mylex BT958 SCSI controller
and an ISA SMC 10Mb ethernet NIC (currently...but will be changing...
sometimes get errors with this card/driver)

Eventually, I will be segmenting my network and using a 10/100 switch.
For now, I simply want to add a 100Mb ethernet card to each of these two
servers so I can connect them to each other on a separate (100Mb crossover
or 10/100 hub between the 2 new NICs) network.
What cards should I be looking at?
I have a few workstations with 10/100 3Com cards that will also eventually
by on the 100Mb network.
Should I buy Intel EtherExpress 10/100 cards?
If I buy 3 of these, then the modules will be the same for both NIC in the
2nd machine that currently has the SMC card as will as the same for the
first machine that would then have one onboard EEPro and a PCI slot EEPro.
Maybe I should get 3 3Com 10/100 NICs...as some of my workstations already
have them.
Thanks for any input,
Curt
