Our tests show that the Lite-On is 75% slower then a genuine tulip.
(I used netperf), so if you are considering any beowulf type stuff,
you may want to stick to the tulips.

That said, I have a box of 16 Net Gear Lite-On cards (that we assumed were
tulips) that we will sell for $15 each, (you can have the whole lot for
$200)  If anyone is setting up a network or lab, these may be handy.
I should mentioned these are slightly used, but fully functional.
