Sorry, but this is ridiculous. I also just bought myself a celeron
system... lesse:

Aopen AX6B+ ... $250
Celeron 333a .. $100
                ====

I currently have it running at 500mhz (5.0 x 100mhz). Perfectly stable.
How much effort? Hmm. None. Aopen has a softmenu for setting bus speed and
multiplier.

Now, the same system using standard parts

Aopen AX6B+ ... $250
PII 450 ....... $459
                ====
                $709

Of course this isn't running at 500mhz like I am. In fact, as soon as my
AGP2 video card comes in, I'll attempt the 103, 112, 133mhz busses my
board supports (the video card flakes out at those speeds [ PCI s3virge
].)

So, you tell me, what is most cost effective? Hell, even if the 333a burns
out, replacing it ever 6 months still beats the hell out of a 450.
