Hi, the message I sent to you came out from dmesg on a four Xeon processors
server (Compaq model ProLiant 5500) / kernel 2.2.5 (but 2.0.36 produces
exactly the same message).
The reason I started the investigation is the malfunctioning of the
network driver tlan 1.0 (for a Compaq Netelligent 10/100 TX PCI UTP).
Everything seems correct (after autonegotiation the link apears to be up),
but there no communication.
I don't know if there is a link between the two problems (IO-APIC warning
and the malfunctioning of tlan driver).
