Just a question.

What SCSI Controller are you using?

        Subject:        HELP!!

        Okay....i'm stumped. i've recompiled 2.0.36 for SMP support.
Modified
        lilo.conf accordingly, moved /usr/src/linux/System.map --->
/boot/System.map,
        confirmed lilo by running lilo, reboot and get this

        Partition check:
        VFS: Cannot open root device 08:01
        kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 08:01

        Does this sound like I've not enabled SCSI controllers for the
Megaraid
        controller, or is this something to do w/the filesystem support i've
built
        in/left out of the kernel? anyone have any ideas?

        Thanks in advance,
