i have an at&t globalyst 730 with dual p133 processors at the moment, and i
cant get SMP under linux to recognize the 2nd processor. the machine used
to have NT4.0, which used both processors. im using RH5.2 with kernel
2.0.36, which i recompiled with the correct line uncommented, and booted
from a floppy with no luck. has anyone else used one of these machines? i
was considering getting a 2.2.x kernel and trying that out, any opinions?
any other ideas i might try?
any information would be greatly appreciated
thanx
