After posting that message I started looking around again. I don't think
I'm going with the BT-958D as I had planned. At least not with that
server.
I found the DPT cards. The PM2554U2W (century) looks to support LVD
drives. And the DPT cards have a good long-term reputation and work well
in Linux from the reports I've seen (both UP and SMP). Can anyone confirm
this? [The Linux support and the LVD support]
I am not too keen on the Adaptec controllers.
I haven't found the Symbios boards yet, I will look for the tekram.
