I am using 2.2.10 with DUAL P-233MMX with 128Meg of RAM, RH6.0
XF86 3.3.3.1 and have had X lock up on me a few times and I have
also had my mouse lock up on me under X a few times too.
When X locks up I can Ctrl-Alt-Backspace and I am back at the
console. When my mouse locks up I can ususually do the same
thing, so I think it may be X related, but am not sure.
There was one time though that I had to hit the reset switch on
my machine as the key sequence did not work.
I will be upgrading my XFree86 rpms this weekend, but since this
is happening to someone that is not using RH and 2.2 I now think
that there is another issue going on here?
I am ALWAYS connected to the internet.
I use xisp as my dialer.
ppp is loaded as a module.
Netscape is usually running, and often zircon (IRC) is running.
It happeneded 2 times last weekend.
I have not noticed any apps running wild thou. Could there be
problems with ppp that could cause X to hang?
Where should I start looking to debug this as it seems that
others are having X problems?
